The Wes Anderson Collection

Abrams and Matt Zoller Seitz

Film and television critic Matt Zoller Seitz recruited Outsider to create a promotional trailer for his upcoming book on one of the most important filmmakers of the 21st century, Wes Anderson. Seitz’s book, The Wes Anderson Collection, is the first in-depth overview of Anderson’s filmography, guiding readers through his life and career.

But why stop with just a trailer? Outsider took Seitz’s vision one step further and decided to create an official microsite for the book to accompany and help promote the video. Because that's just how we roll.

Dungeons & Dragons

Konami and Hasbro

When Hasbro and Konami joined forces to bring the legendary Dungeons & Dragons brand to the slot gaming community, Outsider was the perfect partner to help launch the endeavor. Outsider’s own wizards created a promotional teaser that captured a sense of escapism and honored the legacy of the role-playing fantasy game.

Outsider understood that storytelling is the driving force behind Dungeons & Dragons. Influenced by a handful of new characters and our own love of mythology, we produced a visual story to introduce the brand’s upcoming enhanced casino slot game experience. Roll the dice and judge for yourself.


Star Wars Storyboards: The Original Trilogy

Abrams and Lucasfilm

For their second project together, Abrams tapped Outsider to create a trailer and strategic multi-pronged marketing approach that would embody the wonder and excitement of the original Star Wars trilogy. For the first time ever, Lucasfilm has opened its archives to present the complete storyboards in Abrams’ Star Wars Storyboards: The Original Trilogy.

The Building of a Life

The Children's Aid Society

In the lead-up to their 2nd annual Keeping the Promise fundraising gala, The Children’s Aid Society turned to Outsider to create a promotional video that would speak to current supporters and inspire a new generation of advocates. We were proud to assist the 160-year-old New York City staple, which supports over 70,000 underserved children and their families throughout New York City every year.

Set to the song "Radioactive" by Grammy-winning rock band Kings of Leon, the spot features footage of Children's Aid program participants of all ages along with moving commentary from CEO Richard Buery. It offers an inspiring look into the ways the organization helps young people grow into successful adults.

A Little T.L.C.

Children of Bellevue

We brought Children of Bellevue’s website – self-described as “tired, old, and very homemade-looking” – into the 21st century with a complete redesign. The leading nonprofit, which improves the health and well-being of the more than 25,000 children and teens who visit New York City’s Bellevue Hospital each year, sought a polished web presence that would reflect their credibility and increase brand awareness.

We crafted a responsive design that is optimized for large display monitors but easily viewed on devices of all sizes. All content was optimized for search engine visibility and edited to better promote Children of Bellevue’s mission and varied programs.

The Expert's Choice


We helped the beauty experts at Tweezerman showcase how industry professionals utilize their unique line of beauty tools while on the set of their latest fashion shoot. This was Tweezerman’s first branded video to combine stylized live action with motion graphics, which seamlessly blend their latest products into the shoot. The spot helped launch Tweezerman’s brand in the US Market as well as internationally. It was presented at trade shows throughout the global market and a shorter version was cut for commercial use.
